Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s insinuation about a possible deal with Ambani and Adani, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi questioned, “Namaskar Modiji, are you frightened?”

This comeback was prompted by Modi’s inquiry into why Rahul Gandhi had refrained from mentioning Ambani and Adani during the election campaign, suggesting a concealed agreement.

“In general, one would only talk about Ambani and Adani behind closed doors. But for the first time, you’ve mentioned ‘Ambani’ and ‘Adani’ publicly,” he noted in a video message posted on X on Wednesday, May 8th.

“You also know that Adani-Ambani send money in tempo? Is this from your personal experience? Do one thing… send CBI and ED. Get a thorough investigation done… don’t panic.”

Moreover, he assured the people that the sum of money provided by PM Modi to them, the Congress would allocate the same to “the impoverished in India.”

“We will create numerous ‘lakhpatis’ through schemes like the ‘Mahalakshmi Yojna’ and ‘Pehli Naukri Yojana,'” he further emphasized.

At a poll rally in Karimnagar, Telangana, Modi criticized the Congress party regarding the “Ambani-Adani” issue, urging them to clarify to the public why they have ceased discussing the matter.

“Congress’ ‘Shehzada’ has been doing this for the past five years,” Modi remarked, questioning if the party has struck a “deal”.

“Ever since the elections have been announced, these individuals from Congress have ceased their criticism of Ambani and Adani. I want to inquire from the soil of Telangana, let the Shehzada declare, how much has been lifted from Ambani and Adani. Have truckloads of cash reached the Congress? What deal has been made that the criticism of Ambani and Adani has abruptly stopped?” he queried.

“Clearly, something fishy is going on. For five years, they criticized Adani and Ambani, and suddenly it stopped overnight. It implies you’ve received some truckloads of stolen goods. You have to answer to the nation,” the Prime Minister asserted.

The Congress has been criticizing the Modi government, alleging that the Prime Minister favors the top five industrialists in the country, including Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani.
