In Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency, BJP candidate Dharmapuri Arvind faced an incident of celibacy with Muslim women. He had reached Mendora mandal as part of election campaign where he was stopped by Muslim women. On this occasion, a woman wearing a burqa asked him questions, on which Arvind was heard saying that if you vote, cast it, if you don’t cast it, don’t cast it. It was heard that she would not vote for him. Seeing the anger of the women, Arvind started to leave.
Meanwhile, his supporters raised Jai Shri Ram slogans. Even after Arvind’s departure, Muslim women continued to harass him. Videos of the incident quickly went viral on various social media platforms.
